Welcome to my flyer design class. In this particular lesson, we will design a 'Summer Swiming Lesson' Promotional Flyer. This template is double sided and includes an application form on the back side. This is all in one flyer promotion with signing in form. To make it more enjoyable and easy to follow I decide to separate this class in 2 parts.

Buinton Rough is roughed up version of Buinton. There is three versions with increasing distress level. Buinton Rough is a script typeface with noble and vintage looks. It has serifs at the beginnings of the strokes, swash capitals and formal design. Buinton Rough has lots of alternate characters, swashes and ligatures. It has also a bunch of tails with different shapes and widths to give the vintage logotype or sports look to your design. These alternates makes Buinton Rough very versatile. You can design beautiful, elegant and diverse typographic elements with it. It’s well suited for logos, lettering artwork, t-shirt designs, editorial illustrations to name a few.

CM 1459575 - Balmy Brush Font

Balmy is handmade brush font designed for everything vintage and grungy! I wanted to create a more bolder and loud typeface that has that hipster feel. The font comes with over 400 characters, with ligatures and special characters for posters, logos, or everything handmade! Since the first draft of Morion typeface in 2014, the aesthetic vision of Morion has remained true, but has undergone constant refinement and critique. We are pleased to publicly release the final typeface 3 years later in 2017. From combining two diverse stylistic elements in type-design, wedge-shaped serifs and floral terminals Morion has a slightly playful, calligraphic look that remains balanced and controlled. While Morion may function best in decorative, larger applications; OpenType features like an alternative lower case ‘a’ increase legibility in smaller text sizes. Morion is delivered in two weights and supports Latin-A Extended and was designed by David Einwaller for The Designers Foundry. We also produced 50 waterproof coats to promote the release. The rear print ‘GLOBAL’ references the international nature of The Designers Foundry and the team that worked on Morion. There is also a small text print on the left sleeve.

Need to cram a zillion words on to a single page? Nicotine is your vice. Cram it. Nicotine Jazz is a bit more musical as it trades uppercase and lowercase letters for an interesting unicase effect. Italic can be used for extra emphasis. The condensed nature of the Nicotine fonts allows for impressive use at larger, poster sizes. Another interesting tidbit? The I in Nicotine is a silhouette of a traditional filtered cigarette; that’s how the font got its name.
